In the Words of Dikembe Disembe: Prof. Kagwanja and the many - TopicsExpress

In the Words of Dikembe Disembe: Prof. Kagwanja and the many apologists whove been commenting on Migori incident as having been planned by politicians, especially Raila Odinga, have given the ICC another reason to argue that the post-election violence was planned and executed by those the court is charging for the same. In Kenya, these apologists have confirmed beyond doubt that citizens cannot just heckle a political leader out of their own volition. Even where citizens are provoked, they do not have the capacity to react like human beings. One would have expected that with the sinking of drug ship, which the ICC prosecutor has tabled to prove that our leaders are so powerful that they willfully disregard court orders would have jolted the jubilee politicians into not acting, verbally or writing, in a manner that bolsters, instead of weakening, the case against President Uhuru Kenyatta. Truth is, Migori residents heckled area governor Okoth Obado with the President in attendance. Heckling and throwing shoes is a global political expression. Sadly, here, it has become another petty mudslinging affair on Raila Odinga. Fact is, Raila Odinga did not send anyone to heckle Obado in front of Uhuru. Raila Odinga himself has been a victim of heckling and jeering in Luoland. The only difference is that he took it as a veteran politician and leader of the most confrontational group of citizens. If Migori was planned, then Naivasha was planned, Molo was planned, Kiambaa church was planned, Tigoni was planned and Limuru was planned. I may be wrong.
