In the last few weeks, ive posted less and connected more. Ive talked to friends who I havent spoken to in a while, went to gatherings and new places without familiar faces to find a deeper way to connect on a soul to soul basis. I felt sadness around how many posts and photos were shared about new iPhones and wondered what would this world feel like if we were half as excited to help one another as we where to receive a new gadget. I come from a generation of playing outside until the street lights come on only to grow into a career that is built on technology. Im grateful for the technology that has shaped our world but I can honestly say that my greatest days have been spent without connecting to my most beloved gadget. Prince Ea has done an incredible way of breaking it down in this video, and although you can argue that without technology this video wouldnt be possible but on the contrary, would we have needed such a strong message?
