In the midst of all the posts concerning hospice, hospital visits, and surgeries, I am feeling a little out of sorts, and maybe you are too. I was reminded last night that God is still in control. Amen! I thought of the words to a song that Mrs. Louise has sung over and over...The God on the mountain is still God in the valley! Our church seems to be in that valley with so many members sick and hurting, but we have to claim His Word and believe it! That is the faith and the hope we believe in. Here are some verses that God gave me yesterday. May they encourage you today...when we dont understand..His understanding is infinite. Psalm 147:1-5 Praise the Lord! For it is good to sing praise to our God; The Lord builds up Jerusalem; He heals the brokenhearted And binds up their wounds. He counts the number of the stars; He gives names to all of them. Great is our God and abundant in strength; His understanding is infinite. Lord, help us to praise you not only on the mountains but also in the valleys.
