In the name of Allah, the most beneficent, the merciful “Faint not nor grieve, for ye will overcome them if ye are (indeed) believers” Al-Imrân 139 Statement No. 1 The General Military Council of Iraq Rebels After a days of battles being fought by members of Iraqi Tribes and Iraqi rebels who joined the Military council, and after fighting spread from the Governorate of Al-Anbar towards many other Iraqi Governorates along with the formation of Military councils in these Governorates by the rebels. In the light of what the rebels have accomplished of defending their people in such heroic way against the Maliki’ Security and Military Militias, we are glad to announce to all people of Iraq that your sons in these resisting military councils have started communicating and coordinating since the very beginning of our blessed Revolution. We happily wish to inform you that the mentioned communications between the struggling military councils have concluded today on the foundation of a unified military council called “The General Military council of Iraq Rebels”, which included the military councils of Al-Anbar, Al-Fallujah, Al-Musil, Salah Eddin, AlTameem, Baghdad, Dyala, Abighreib, Addloeya, an Ashirgat. Henceforth, the General Military Council of Iraq Rebels (GMCIR) call the sons of Iraq in all Governorates and areas to stand ready and united against the gross aggression committed by the Militias of Almaliki. We urge all sons of Iraq to cooperate for the salvation of Iraq from all evil and corruption symbols that brought all chaos and devastation into our country. We call Iraqi people to start together, hand in hand, to rebuild Iraq and retrieve our national pride and dignity along with prosperity and safety. The GMCIR strongly urges the leaders of Iraqi Tribes in all Governorates, and particularly in the South, to ask their sons to abandon the Army of Almaliki and come back home safe, otherwise they will be the fuel of a fight only the Maliki needs for his own welfare and for the protection of his corrupted followers. On this occasion, the GMCIR warns anyone or any group who might make use of the GMCIR’s name or the sub-councils to make individual interests or to speak on behalf of the GMCIR without any clear authorization from the GMCIR. We accordingly call the Media not to adopt any new or piece of information related to our GMCIR but only through our official channels and sources. Finally, we wish to remind our people of Iraq that victory comes with patience, and its only a matter of days, God’s willing, to have a bright tomorrow when Iraq have been purified of all intrudes who did hurt Iraq, its people and its history.
