In this video, we are standing in front of a barrow grave not far from Stonehenge. Our guide, Pat Shelley, is talking in the background about the barrow and what little is known about the burials in the line of barrows this one is part of. Stonehenge was visible in the distance--I zoomed in on it enough to see the last tour walking around the chain link fence outside the monument. In a few minutes, we walk across the fields about half a mile (I still cant believe I managed it) to strike the elbow of the great Avenue and then up to the circle and around it, where we were permitted access inside the fence.
