In todays society we romanticize these destructive friendships/relationships that somehow end up working out in the long run. We do it because we believe that if we stick it out through the end, things will always get better. We pay so much attention to those relationships that we overlook the people who love us just the way we are, that care for us in the way we need and accept us for our faults. Sometimes these things consume us and when we turn back, we are on our own. We let the people who love us go. We forget that while we are strong, there are people supporting our weight telling us to pull forward.
