Inb4 squat mornings. Inb4 no depth. Inb4 shitty deadlifts. Long story short, with the weather change, depression has knocked me off my feet. All this month, I have been forcing myself to go to the gym but never really had a plan and just felt weak and never enjoyed a session. Until today. I made a simple plan to test my squat 5rm and deadlift 3rm. Having a plan helped. Managed to work up to 240x5 and 295x3 which are both rep PRs. My form has broken down a bit since I havent been lifting as regularly. Had a harder time keeping my chest up during squats and my depth isnt where I like it. Definitely cut that last rep high. Im not worried tho because once I start lifting regularly again, my squat will come back. deads were mildly questionable but whatever. Also did some sumo for shits and gigs because Im a cheater (not srs, my sumo is so much weaker than conventional) Happy I went to the gym today and even happier I finally walked out feeling good.
