Initial observations on Lisbon: 1. The hash dealers, who openly ply their trade in Lisbons central town square even with police in proximity, all speak English, which is awfully convenient. 2. They are also indiscriminate: no matter your nationality, age, or whether or not youre a family pushing a stroller with children in tow, they offer to sell you hash. If not hash, cocaine. If not coke, sunglasses. In short, progressive and diversified. 3. The city is breathtakingly lovely; whether it remains lovely under the influence of hashish weve yet to find out, and probably wont.
