The youth of Anambra state under the aiges of national youth council of Nigeria Anambra state chapter will on 1st October kickoff its special 3days intersession for Anambra State. At a media briefing, the chairman... of the council in Anambra State Comrade Innocent Nduanya said the reasons for the prayer session is to ask for Gods divine intervention in the forthcoming 2014 governorship election holding on the 16th Nov. 2013. Also in his speech, the chairman said the youths of Anambra State will ask for the spiritual arrest of Boko Haram insurgents. In his words, "we will pray for Boko Haram insurgency and what we will ask God is for them to die since they have refused to repent. This prayer is for all the youths of Anambra State worldwide; its time for us to come together and pray especially now we have our elections at hand we need God to direct us on the right candidate to vote into power." Also speaking the Deputy chairman of the council Comrade Ernest Nnoli reinterated the need for special prayers and enjoined all the youth to join in the prayers regardless of their sociopolitical affiliations. In his words, "we cannot continue to cry wolf and indulge in all forms of political propaganda, all these have proven to be unfruithful. We must pray until something happens." The state publicity secretary Comrade Osita Onuko also thanked the media for being steadfast and committed to ensuring that democracy perpetautes in Nigeria even as he clamoured for more robust relationship between the council and the media. He said the prayers will kickoff in all the 21 local governments of the state on the 1st of October with 6am-12noon fasting and will run through 2nd October and the grand finale on the 3rd at INTERCESSORY ARMY FOR CHRIST (WARMEN CONTROL TOWER) OPP AWKA SLAUGHTER HOUSE (KWATA) RSVP: 07033345491,07067088348,08063681336. In his words," we are very happy for an opportunity to pray for our fatherland, there is no other task more honourable; we will bring down the attention of God to Anambra State because so many wolves are parading themselves in sheep clothing seeking for our votes; its only God that can tell the youths whom to vote for and who is best for the job. I want to also thank our esteemed spiritual director and the director of WARMEN, Rev.Dr. Chima Ugochukwu for offering to spiritually guide the youths of Anambra State. As you can see he gave us his Church auditorium free of charge for the prayer rally and he is officiating the special grand finale service on the 3rd; you know Chima is a big fish in the vineyard of God, he is not a man you see and beliitle and when he identifies with any program you know God in heaven has already answered our prayers.
