Insert 30 By the time we got to the house we met Andrew and Lisa by the door going out. Andrew: we were going to the hospital to get u. I see Ti beat us to it. Lisa unlocked the house and we all got in. Me: yeah hey. I smiled. Me: lemme go shower. I need it. Lisa: how u feeling now? U good to go to a party tonight? Me: party?? Lisa: its new years eve. We all going. Me: oh. Ill see after my nap. Titus: let me go bath also and take care of some business and Ill come check on u ok? Me: thanks. I went upstairs and he left. I took my shower, dressed very warmly and I went back down. Found Lisa sitting by herself. Me: wheres Andrew? Her: out. Business. Me: ok. I sat next to her and I took my ipad and checked my emails. Lukhanyo had sent 2 again. I didnt even read them. I then went to facebook. I had a new friend request. Yonela YowYow Saule the hell?? However I accepted, while I was still going through her wall the phone rang and Lisa got it. Her: its for u. Me: hello? Caller: hey its Ti Me: oh hey. Him: how u feeling? Me: much better thanks. Him: can I come by and see u? Me: of course. Id like that. Him: what can I bring u? Have u eaten? Me: pizza please with extra cheese. Him: hahaha and u will complain and say u are fat. Me: k then. No extra cheese. Him: Im kidding beautiful. Be there in like an hour or so after my meeting. Grab a snack so long. Me: ayt see u then. Thanks Him: see u later. I went back to facebook. I couldnt believe what I was seeing. How come I never saw anything on Lukhanyos wall kodwa she tagged him? A whole lot of pictures of the 2 of them on different days and places and times of the days. Why was I bothered? I told Lukhanyo to date her. And he was also very much keen on it. Anyway... I switched off the ipad and disconnected the wifi. Lisa: so what do u do? Me: Im an MD at Andrews company. Actually only starting there soon. Lisa: so u some kind of business and corporate girl? Me: I guess so. Its not like I had a choice. Had to take care of myself and give mom a break and take care of her. Her: now u do! Me: huh? Lisa: now u have a choice. Ti can take care of u. Me: uhm no Im fine. I got this. What do u do? Her: Im a PA to some lawyer. Me: really? U should come and be mine. We laughed about it. And continued talking. Lisa: he likes u, u know. Me: who? Lisa: Jesus!!! Titus dude. Me: oh... Lisa: he never left ur side at the hospital. Didnt go to any meeting. Me: maybe he didnt have any. Lisa: wheres ur baby daddy? Back in SA? U still together? Me: hes back there and no we not together. We were hardly together. Its just a long boring love story. Lisa: then why dont u give Ti a chance? Me: trust me I have. If I didnt like him he wouldnt even see me. We spoke and spoke for some time and then Andrew and Titus came with 3boxes of pizza. Lisa got up and gave her man a kiss. They looked happier than before, she wore less makeup nd more clothes lol. Ti came and gave me a peck on the cheek. Titus: how u feeling angel? Me: very much better thanks. Lisa: yep shes coming to the party. Andrew: u sure? Dont want u landing up in hospital again. Me: yeah Im cool. Ill just come back home at midnight. Titus: cool Ill bring u. Me: thanks. By now we were all just gobbling on the pizza and they were all having beer and I was having juice. I was sitting next to Ti, lying on his chest and he was playing with my ears. Andrew: why dont u guys just date already? Me: because Ti hasnt asked me out yet. Lisa: Ti u should take her out on a date tomorrow. Me: we had our first date at the hospital. We all laughed and Titus didnt answer any of them. I guess he doesnt like me much hey. Lisa changed the topic. Lisa: so we should all go out for dinner before the party. Me: what time is this party of urz and where is it? Lisa: starts at 9 in Brooklyn. Its a new years party. Its the best you will ever go to. Me: mhhh let me call my friends from Brooklyn then. Lisa: u have friends?? Me: ud be surprised. Andrew: they from home. I got up and went to call MJ. Him: friend, whatsup? Me: what u doing tonight? Him: we going to this other new years party. I hear its happening. Wanna come? Me: Im going to the same in ur hood. Him: meet u there. Me: shap chomi. Kea gorata nhe. After the call I told em Im going to take a nap. Lisa: what u gonna wear? Do u have a dress? We not going clubbing. No jeans and flat shoes. Me: I dont know. I dont think they American friendly. They all laughed. Lisa: we need to go shopping then. Me: but Im really sleepy. Titus: go sleep, Ill get u a dress and shoes by the time u wake up. Me: really? Andrew: yeah. U going as his date, he will make a plan. Lisa: yes and I know her size and style. Go sleep while I go shopping with the guys. Me: bring me dinner, I wont go out with yoll for dinner. Need all the energy for the party. Titus: ok sleep well angel. I went upstairs, and straight to sleep. The way I missed Thato ngakhona I even dreamed of her. I slept till I heard voices in my room and when I opened it was Lisa, Dee and Annie. Me: yall ever at ur houses?? Annie: hahaha wakey wakey. Dee: wee need to fix your hair so u can be american friendly. Hahaha Me: what time is it? Lisa: just after 7. Me: Im hungry though. Lisa: go take a shower Ill warm ur food so long. I went and took my shower and went down stairs to eat. The boys were all there looking really good in em suits. Andrew and Curtis were wearing black ones and white shirts, Andrew had a long tie and Curtis had a bow. Jay was wearing grayish one with white shirt and pink tie. Titus was wearing a navy one. White shirt nd blue tie. They looked really hot. I had my food and went back up. I was the only one who wasnt dressed. The girls were wearing same colors as their men. Lisas dress was short and white. It was a bare back tight fitting. She had black platforms and Gold chain and earrings. Dee wore a black one armed short dress and black platform. Had a gold chain and earrings too. Annie had a baby pink long dress with diamond finishing. It had long sleeves and she wore a silver grey platform. They did my makeup. Fixed my curls. I put on diamond earrings. My dress was a long navy one that had little diamonds around the boob area as it was a boob tube. It had something like a stitching at the back and light blue linen belt that goes around and is tied in the front right on top of the belly. When its dark the top coat of the dress sparkles like little stars. Not too much. I had a navy platform that had diamond finishing and we all had clutches that matched our shoes. We went down stairs and you should have seen the look on Tituss face! His jaw literally dropped. Lisa: he picked everything himself. Titus: you look beautiful. Me: thanks to u hey. Titus: u all look amazing. Dee: so do u. No one was gonna drive. A nice black Hummer Limo picked us up. We got inside and sat. There was champagne and my juice in a champagne glass. Lisa sat next to me. Lisa: (she whispers) this is Tituss car. Me: really? How much money does he have? Lisa: a lot. Hence I was saying u wont need to work. Me: I see. Andrew: what yall gossiping about? Me: nothing. Finally we got to the very classy happening party. Everyone looked awesome and u could see everyone there had money, it was a tie, red carpet event. We got off and I spotted Earl with his boyfriend and then followed MJ and MD. I waved for them and they came. I hugged them and introduced em. Me: guys this is MJ, MD, Earl and... Earl: Leon Me: yes they my friends. And this is Lisa, Dee, Annie, Curtis, Jay, Andrew and Titus. Mj: nice meeting u all. My friend u getting bigger! Me: sadly yes. We walked down the red carpet into the big dining hall. Cameras were all over. Titus was holding my waist. We got in and were directed to our table. We sat and the event had already kind of began. Food and drinks were being served. There was a corner for dancing and other people were there dancing. About 2hours into the party Titus whispered on my ear. Him: wanna dance? Me: I cant dance. Him: me neither. Me: then lets not. Him: we will learn. After he begged we got up and went to dance. We danced and laughed till my feet couldnt take it. Most people were now dancing and we were walking to our sits everyone started counting. 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1... Happy new year!!! Everyone was screaming and shouting. Titus hugged me and whispered happy new year and then kissed me cheek. I whispered back, and he kissed my lips, I welcomed him. He froze for a moment and then kissed me again. We kissed and a voice came over us. Finally!! It was Andrew, I looked around and gave him a hug and happy new year. Did the same with Lisa and everyone else who came for the hugs. It was nice hey. I could see Titus was still in shock. That moment passed and people went back to dancing. Titus: its past midnight Cinderella. We should get going. Me: but Cinderella goes alone. Titus: but this one has me. Me: hahaha everyone is still enjoying. We cant make em go now. Titus: lets take a cab then. Wouldnt want u getting a cold again. Me: ok lets go. We told Andrew that we going and we taking a cab so they wont have to go early. Said our goodbyes and we left. Titus: wanna come chill at my place for a change? Me: uhm....well... I guess. Titus: dont worry I wont bite hahaha. We got a cab and it drove up all the way to his house. A nice beautiful, big mansion. We got in and I looked around. Me: wow child such a big house for one person? Him: 2 most weekends. My daughter comes around often. Me: how many bedrooms are here? Him: well I know the 2 we use hahaha but u can walk around and find out urself. We took a walk around the house starting up stairs with the bedrooms where I met about 5 of them and the masters bedroom being the 6th. 2closets and a store room. 3bathrooms, the main room had a big bathroom and balcony with a nice view of the sea which is a bit far but a nice view. An empty walk in closet that is as big as a bedroom. And cupboards on the other side where his clothes were packed. One of the other bedrooms had its own bathroom also. Then from the passage between the main bedroom and one closet we went up the other stairs to a gym with a small jacuzy and steam room and. Gosh the house is like heaven on earth. We went back down stairs through the foyer to the living/tv room and then entertainment room. On to the main sitting room. On the other side of the foyer was a door to the garages and then a bit further from that one another door to his office. When u turn the corner to the right from that one u meet a beautiful huge dining hall and walk down to the swinging door into the kitchen. The most beautiful kitchen. I could sleep there. I could even love cooking more than anything. Going back to the foyer theres a closet and another door next to it which takes u to the rest room. When u go out the kitchen door down a bit theres a staff accommodation. Which is a 2bedroomed cottage typa looking but its somehow built into the house. And then theres a big basket ball court and tennis grounds. Not too far a swimming pool and chill area. It felt like I was in heaven. I had never seen such. How does he have so much and stay so humble?
