Inside the amazingly elaborate Palau de la Musica Catalana. Tonight we saw flamenco for the first time. Id heard a lot of flamenco guitar and singing and seen some dance - but to see a whole flamenco performance is a great spectacle and one rather foreign to our culture. Its essentially an opera. Music, singing, costume and particularly dance combine with such drama and energy. Spellbinding. You cant help but watch those amazing feet! The speed and precision.
