The picture is actually looking worse for Netanyahu than he envisioned: now the end of Netanyahus government appears a definite possibility, there is mounting evidence and converging logistics that will establish Israels crimes before the International Criminal Court, Israels hegemonic interests now being codified into law are sealing their own self-delegitimization and pariah status in the international community, and the converging international pressure to deal with and develop the Palestinian unity government as a de facto Palestinian State is mounting, a scenario that could ultimately relegate Israel to the sidelines in what will amount to an internationally imposed solution. The time is near when the United States will no longer have either the will or interest to stand in the gap for a pariah as the social and political cost in the international arena has become too great.
