Interesting: Just came to my knowledge that Mr Zahid Jamil, a prominent Karachi-based Barrister (Jamil & Jamil fame) and international law scholar is the great maternal grandson of Pakistans fifth Prime Minister, Huseyn Shaheed Suhrawardy. His mother, the famous lawyer and minister Shahida Jamil, was daughter of Begum Akhtar Sulaiman, who herself was Huseyn Suhrawardys daughter. Mr Zahid Jamil has been at the forefront of developing the PECO (Prevention of Electronic Crimes Ordinance), has advised NATO on cybersecurity laws (in Europe) and has also advised the Government of Maldives. I have met Mr Zahid twice, once at LUMS in October 2013 during a cybersecurity summit held by the FIA/Senate Standing Committee on Defence and the second time during my participation at the National Conference on Information Assurance 2013 held at the Military College of Signals.
