Interesting fact #1: San Marino have played 123 official games (including friendlies) since joining UEFA.. They won 1 (vs. Lichtenstein in 2004), tied 3 times (Lichtenstein again, Latvia - fired manager due to it and Turkey) losing the rest of the 119 games played... They scored only 20 goals, conceding 531.. Interesting fact #2: Gibraltar have a football team for years.. They played in Sevilla back in 1923.. They have played a few tournaments since 1993 including the Islands games (Though not being an island), the FIFI wild Cup (an alternative of the WC for non-FIFA teams) and the Four Nations Cup.. Interesting fact #3: Still with Gibraltar.. They have applied for UEFA in 1999 but only got accepted in 2013.. The biggest reason was Spain refusing because they were afraid the Basque and Catalunya teams will follow.. Spain threatened to withdraw from all UEFA competitions back in 2007 if Gibraltar joins UEFA which left only England, Wales and Scotland voting for the move.. In 2013 though only Spain and Belarus were against the move.. The team is still not a FIFA member though they will apply to become one in order to compete in the 2018 WC qualifiers..
