Internal Auditor – (1) position) Save the Children – Posted by The Uganda Jobs – Kampala, Central Region, Uganda Job Description Duty Station; Kampala Job Purpose: Reporting to the Country Director, the Internal Auditor heads the Internal Audit function. The candidate is responsible for conducting internal & investigative audits, supporting the improvement of internal policies and procedures and enforcing compliance to the organisational policies, standards and procedures. The Internal Auditor may be called upon as and when necessary to support the emergency response in cases of humanitarian crisis. Academic back ground, Experience & Person Specifications; - Minimum of a Bachelors Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Auditing, or other relevant field with bias in auditing. - Must be a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors; - S/he must possess at least five (5) years’ experience in middle level management in a large international NGO or Private Sector firm. - Experience supporting improvement of internal processes, procedures and organizational delivery and impact/ quality. - Ability and willingness to travel extensively in country.
