Introducing, Harlequin!! Please share our pretty girl! This would be a perfect cat for an older family or someone who isnt interested in the crazy antics of a kitten! Harlequin DOB: ~11 years Description: Calico About Harlequin: Harley was found in Santa Rosa by a kind woman who fed a colony of feral cats. One day, this little kitty came into the colony searching for food. She was skin and bones. She had multiple abcesses and open scabs all over and was clearly very itchy. She was screaming for food and just couldnt get enough. We knew she needed medical attention so we took her into our care to assess her in isolation. She was given lots of food, a warm bed and worming and flea treatment. We got her to the Vet the next day where she was tested negative for FIV/FeLV (phew!), and diagnosed with a severe flea allergy. We ran blood panels and a urinalysis which we got back later that week and everything turned out good! So, her treatment plan was a round of antibiotics, lots of food and time. She must have really hit hard time on the street being that her only real problem was parasites and lack of food. She has now blossomed into a beautiful girl who is ready for her forever home! Harley is a funny girl. She is a beautiful, dark Calico with a lovely face and long tail. She is very talkative and although wed love to say she has a cute, tiny meow, she doesnt. She sounds like an old man who cant hear how loud he might be! We think its quite endearing and sweet but it might not be for everyone. Dont worry! She doesnt meow unless shes hungry or you speak to her first. She is not demanding at all but loves pets and rubs when you give them. Shell happily lay in your lap and purr, but she doesnt care for being picked up and carried around. Harley is great with other animals, too! She doesnt seem to mind any of the other animals and although she might not snuggle up to any of them, she seems to be very tolerable of other animals. She likes wet food and has perfect litter box manners. Shes a great cat, who is pretty low maintenance, independent and sweet. She doesnt need much and enjoys to find a nice relaxing place to snooze through the day. Can you find a place in your home for this lovely girl?
