" Invitation to Speech by UK Speaker of the House of Commons " (1st August,2013) --------------------------------------------------------------------------- The UK Speaker of the House of Commons, the Rt Hon John Bercow, MP will be delivering a speech at Yangon University entitled ‘British Parliament and Democracy’. The Speaker is very keen to hear the views of the Burmese people and will follow his speech with a Question and Answer session with the audience. Tickets are free, but spaces are limited, so if you would like to attend please e-mail the British Embassy at [email protected] by 12.00 noon on Tuesday 30 July. We will then notify the first 400 successful applicants with details of the venue.
