Invited by Lisa FunMarie, here is my list of 11 things about me. If you wish to join in, just like the status and Ill send you a number of facts to share with us. 1. I had a mid-life crisis at 20 y.o. because I didnt think I had enough time in the rest of my life to do all the things I wanted to do. 2. Ive lived 2 or more months in 6 different countries. (Chile, Spain 2x, France, Italy, Russia, Ecuador 4x) 3. I finished double major B.A in 3 1/2 years (which included a semester of #5) and my M.A. in 11 months, of which 9 months were in Spain. If I had just finished that last semester, I would have had a triple major (Spanish, French, & Poli. Sci., but instead I did number 4 & 5. ;-) 4. I traveled all over Europe between those 2 degrees. 5. Ive studied abroad 6 times as a student, 4 more times as a teacher. 6. I am a certified PADI scuba diver. 7. I have parachuted (tandem) from a plane at 11,000 feet. 8. I have rappelled both traditional and Australian (abseiling-face first) in the Rocky Mountains. (an example of Australian in the link below.) 9. Even at 30 y.o., I was still saying I would never get married and/or have kids. Just gotta meet the right person to turn your world upside down. 10. My husband and I have driven to Alaska twice, camping the whole way. First time alone, the second with kids. Took six weeks each time. 11. So the adventure has continued even after marriage & kids. Paul & I just got back from 2 weeks soaking up art and good food (green chilis) to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. I have lived a full life.
