Iowa Livestock: Managing Risk, Capturing Opportunities IFBF will hold three conferences around Iowa next week that are designed to help livestock farmers manage risk and capture opportunity in todays dynamic markets. The sessions will offer expert analysis on a wide range of issues in livestock production, including market outlook for swine and beef, marketing arrangements, beef and swine production tips and current animal health topics. The current livestock market outlook and updated guidance on environmental compliance will be included. The conferences are scheduled for: **Wednesday, Feb. 26 at the Lakeside Casino in Osceola **Thursday, Feb. 27 at Heartland Acres Agribition Center in Independence **Friday, Feb. 28 at Western Iowa Tech Community College in Cherokee The conferences will begin at 10 a.m. and will adjourn at 3 p.m. Lunch will be provided. The conferences are free for Farm Bureau members who preregister and is $10 for non-members who are preregistered. The fee is $20 at the door.
