Is Better To Be Satisfied Learn to be satisfied, with what you have, until, the Lord increases you, don’t sell yourself so cheap! Let each one remain in the same calling in which he was called. 1 Cor 7:20 NKJV He that is greedy of gain, desire more, than he can handle! It’s character flaw! It’s the spirit of discontent. Its origin is satanic. To be content is the seed of gratefulness! It simply means you have, his understanding. Its origin is Christ. Don’t frustrate yourself, for any! Bring forth therefore fruits worthy of repentance, and begin not to say within yourselves, we have Abraham to our father {one of the greatest errors in the church…is we’re are quick to serve man rather than his truth} for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham. Jesus command… and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth. John 4:24 niv 1) First thing, John, commands them to come, but with the right heart. (Your conduct) Our character is the root of the tree, our conduct, is the fruit it bears. Notice John, specify a certain kind of fruit, and take heed to yourself and the fruit you bare. Is not about the quantity of fruit you bare, our King desires… quality, unless of course you have a different agenda than what’s required. 2) He tells them not to allow pride to influence you, otherwise the results will display… a) Pride it speaks… self-talk! b) Its so clever he lets no one hears it but you, until, he use you too influence others! c) Unfortunately pride’s aim is to destroy its victims he use, it’s inevitable. D) Pride fears to be alone… its why employs so many! 9 And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: every tree therefore which brings not forth GOOD fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Luke 3:8-9 (KJV) Truth cuts like an axe, but he only injures that which is useless, while the vessel remains safe… Notice the fruit has to be GOOD, not rotten or unripe or they will be disqualified. So don’t get excited when you see many flocking, to you it doesn’t mean a thing, accept your responsibility is much heavier, it’s not just people coming towards us…but spirits! Selah Sometime when we go shopping in a rush, and buy fruit that appear good, only when you prepare to consume the fruit and bite down on it, you find out its corrupt, likewise that which appears to be corrupt, may just need some tending to. {Careful examination is must or you will pay extra} 10 And the multitudes asked him, then what shall we do? {Wise question} Effective teaching produces right results, but the unteachable will deny that change is needed. Which one you desire? PEEP THIS WE ALL NEED TO CHANGE IN SOME WAY OR ANOTHER, ON THE FLIP SIDE WE NEED NOT TO BE JEALOUS WHEN WE SEE many FLOCKING IN A DIFFERENT DIRECTION THAN OURS ALSO, ENVY IS CRUEL AND YOU OUGHT TO DETEST IT! 11 And he replied to them, He who has two tunics (undergarments), let him share with him who has none; and he who has food, let him do it the same way. 12 Even tax collectors came to be baptized, and they said to him, Teacher, what shall we do? 13 And he said to them, Exact and collect no more than the fixed amount appointed you. EXCESS IS SATAN TOOL FOR DECEPTION! EXCESS IS CHRIST TOOL FOR BLESSING {SHARING} The one who will dominate depends on the condition of your heart! 14 Those serving as soldiers also asked him, And we, what shall we do? And he replied to them, Never demand or enforce by terrifying people or by accusing wrongfully, and ALWAYS BE SATISFIED WITH YOUR RATIONS (supplies) and with your allowance (wages). Luke 3:10-14 AMP Notice JB’s heart no wonder God allowed him, to be the forerunner before our Lord hit the scene, he understood the law of contentment, had he would have been like most of us, he would have been disqualified. Remember this; no matter how good you are at anything, stay in the center of your expertise their will your anointing be also. Like a bird that wanders from its nest is a man who wanders from his place. Ointment and perfume delight the heart, and the sweetness of a mans friend gives delight by hearty counsel. Prov 27:8-9(NKJ) Respectfully, Bro. Porter
