Is God the Universe? Or did He paint the picture of His Word with it? Is this a big astrological metaphor? Sirius, the Star in the East, aligns with three brightest stars in Orions Belt on December 24th. These four stars line up to point at the place of the birth of the sun (sunrise) on December 25th. So the three kings follow the star in the East, to locate the sunrise, or the birth of the Sun. In the Bible (or Bibles), three wise men follow the Star of the East to the birth of the Son, Jesus, on December 25th. The Winter Solstice also happens around Dec 25th. From the northern hemispheres perspective, the sun gets more scarce and smaller, leaving colder, shorter days that kill crops and impact harvests. By December 22nd, the death of the sun occurs, as it sits in its lowest point in the sky for three days near the Crux constellation, aka the Southern Cross. Then, on December 25th, the sun shifts one degree north , almost as if to rise. In the Bible(s), the Son is crucified on a cross, and after three days is resurrected and rises, to Heaven. The Spring Equinox also lines up with with a time where we celebrate the Suns/Sons resurrection, Easter. The Spring Equinox brings longer days, more duration of light than darkness. The Sun also has four seasons consisting of 12 months, similar to how the Son (Jesus) had 12 disciples. Jesus was born in Bethlehem, which translates literally to house of bread, and the iconic wheat-bearing zodiac symbol is of Virgo, which translates from Latin to virgin. So Jesus was born from a Virgin (Virgin Mary).
