Is Hrithik Roshan’s Mohenjedaro delaying Ashutosh Gowariker’s Mt Everest? ift.tt/UbN7Uu The TV show which was supposed to go on air in April has further been postponed to August Ashutosh Gowariker’s ambitious serial Mt Everest, which was to go on air in April was pushed to June and later August. Sources say that it has now been pushed further indefinitely. The reason: Ashutosh is concentrating on his film Mohenjodaro starring Hrithik Roshan. “As a result, he is not able to give enough time for the serial, or plan its launch though 60% of the shoot is complete. Major portions of the serial were shot in Uttarakhand, and a part of it in New Zealand. Only 40 per cent is remaining,” says a source. Agreeing that the serial has been slightly delayed, a source close to the unit says, “The weather conditions in Uttarakhand were hostile which made it difficult to shoot, and that is the reason it got delayed. Ashutosh’s other project (Mohenjodaro) has just started but the serial is nearing completion. Currently, it is being shot in and around Mumbai. However, nobody knows when it will be aired”. We texted Ashutosh, but he did not revert. Mt Everest produced by Ashutosh is touted to be one of the biggest and most expensive shows on Indian television.
