Is absolutely disgusted that my brothers memorial trophy is not being presented at Lowther tomorrow because nobody had the decency to bother picking up a phone and telling my Dad there were no Stud Book Foxhound entries. And then to talk about recycling it for another class and re writing something on the trophy without speaking to the family. Im so angry, and utterly disappointed in some peoples attitude to something so very special. It takes one phone call, some sensitivity, and manners. To hear 2nd hand from somebody, and then the man who should of spoken to us stood with a can of lager in his hand the night before hounds are judged at Lowther, to speak to casually about it has made me incredibly angry and deeply upset. Paddys trophy will come home and will stay at home at my fathers house. How very dare you. Words without swearing and bursting an atery fail me. That trophy is a memorial trophy! Of my brother Patrick, who had his arm weighed down in ribbons the year he won. And you couldnt be bothered to let my Dad know, if I had not seen you this evening, my father and I would of been stood at the hound ring with no idea tomorrow morning. And then to say the trophy will not be there tomorrow for us to bring home. Well Sir, that is not a problem, because I will be standing on your doorstep waiting for it.
