Israel citizens are under missile attack fired by Palestinian terrorists for the last days, led by Hammas, a cruel terrorist organization, which set as its target to destroy Israel. Yesterday at 19:00 while I was out with my kids in the playground, a siren was heard and we had to run to a bomb shelter which was nearby. Needless to say that my kids were scared and confused. Luckily the missile was intercepted by an anti-missile system developed in Israel and there were no casualties. Similar scenarios occur in major cities in Israel, including Tel-Aviv and Jerusalem. Only yesterday, more than 200 missiles were fired towards Israel from Gaza, disrupting the ongoing routine the citizens of Israel wish to have. Today morning, 5 missiles were fired towards Tel-Aviv and more on other cities. The Israeli Defense Force attacks the Hammas infrastructure and missile launchers which in many cases are hidden within their own civilian’s homes, which they use as human shields to defend themselves. My Facebook friends out there in the world, think about these surreal scenarios of you are at home with your family, working in office or hanging out in a restaurant or a pub and suddenly you hear a siren and you have between 15 to 90 seconds (depends on your location) to get to a bomb shelter otherwise you might get hit by a missile!! How can anyone allow this to happen without retaliating? No country will allow that to happen to its citizens and neither will Israel. As an example I’ve shared a movie that demonstrates the impact of that awful status we are at, where a siren is heard during a wedding ceremony, forcing all guests to run for shelter. May we have quieter times...
