It Is Not Love Until It Hurts. Do you often feel unappreciated, unimportant, unloved, unvalued? Do you often feel immaterial to the people that matter to you the most? Do the people you treasure often treat you like trash? Is your love, loyalty and steadfast commitment often mistaken for desperateness? Do the mouths you feed spitefully bite your fingers? Do the people you seek to embrace often embarrass you, frustrate you and push you away? Have you been forgotten by the people whose memories are unforgettably arched on the canvas of your mind? Have you opened your whole heart to someone whose heart you’ve vainly tried to access? Do the people you value the most often make you feel like used tissues or diapers? It is called love. You have not truly loved until you’ve experienced the above. Even Jesus was rejected and killed by the people He came to save. People my take you for granted but God remembers everything you’ve done. Every act of love, every concern shown, every gift given, and every time invested in God’s people, in due time, God will reward you. Sometimes you just have to pray, “Father forgive them for they don’t know what they do.” Hold your head up, wipe your tears and move on!
