It another milestone in my life, am celebrating this year birthday with a mixed feeling as the EBOLA VIRUS DISEASE continue to hunt for new souls 1,823 people had succumbed to the EVD in cold blood all facet of society is been infected or affected. As our custom and tradition has been considered harmful so our societies is fragile and volatile. It is evident that the plague has devastate our social fabric and crippling our economy as a nation, a pessimistic scenario of 12%-14% inflation rate and 2% Gross Domestics Products in early 2015 if EBOLA virus continue to increase in Sierra Leone, we pray for the reverse. As we continue to pray in our various creed, I want to urge all and sundry to intensify our support in the fight against the EVD, as it an extraordinary situation extraordinary measure is required, so a holistic and a robust approach will eradicate the EVD in our countries & the world by extension. For far too long we’ve been raising awareness but the number continue to increase it about time we change our attitudes and behaviours then we will achieve or desire result, eradicating EVD is not a skyrocket science we just have to apply the precautionary measures. It is apparent that the post-ebola will be more devastating than the ebola period itself, so we all have a role to play on the rehabilitation and reintegration of ebola victims and survivors, we should celebrate them not stigmatise them, spread the information not the fear. There was a point in time when I got so closed to contact the virus but with the help of Allah and the application of the precautionary measures am still surviving … the boy who was infected succumbed to the virus and his uncle who failed to adhere to the health measures is a late man...may their souls rest in perfect peace ...it a life time experience for me! Conclusively therefore, as I always begin the year with the end in mind... with Allah by my side I was able to have some private & public victories.. based on my goals set guided by my mission statement. Notable among them is SURVEY SIERRA LEONE . . We are able to registered our NGO with the aforementioned name & weve started operations already.. Thank u Allah for everything!
