It has been a long and worrisome day with Dad having the stroke and just praying that he is okay. We are on our way home now and I know hes going to be ok but the tears started as soon as I got on Facebook and saw all the posts of people praying and concerned for him. My dad is my hero. It may have taken me almost 40 years to realize it but he is and I thank god for every minute he allows him to stay here and be my dad. I need him and I still need his prayers that I know he prays every day. If I can, in my lifetime, help just a few of the people like he has helped over the years I will be able to say Ive accomplished something great. It touches my heart to know that MY DAD loves The Lord and has touched so many lives simply because he serves GOD. Its not that hes some great and public figure, hes just a man that loves and listens to GOD and loves doing GODs work. Ive seen his sacrifices during my life some great and some small but he has always put GOD first. I thank him for bringing me up in a Christian home and for teaching me right from wrong. In my eyes he will always be THE GREATEST MAN I know. I love you dad and this song is a tribute to you. Thank you GOD for not being finished with him yet and knowing that we still need him. I love you Dad.
