It has come to my attention, following a near miss with a Range - TopicsExpress

It has come to my attention, following a near miss with a Range Rover, that people who drive 4x4s in rural areas have clearly taken a different driving test to everyone else. A test that is broadly the same, as in how to point two tons of steel in approximately the right direction, but other than that concentrates more on your wax jacket, leather wellingtons and how many times your partner goes to the stables every week to get her rocks off with the stable boy. Or girl. Ive seen films of such antics on the interweb thingy.... Anyway, its quite clear that Tarquin and Felicity have taken a test that covers manual gearboxes, and automatic gearboxes, but never once involved the funny sticky thing by the steering wheel called an indicator! I say old chap, would you mind awfully using your powers of telepathy because Im about to make a sharp turn off on a dangerous bend and I know where Im going. Theres a good egg. What a wanker. How in the name of The Royal Society For The Prevention Of Accidents are you supposed to deal with that? As my onward journey continued I got to realise a common theme. It seems the more the car costs, the less likely it is to have functioning indicators. Mercs? Nope, none. Range Rovers? Nope none. Audis? Nope. Thankfully the average law abiding motorist will have insurance so that when we drive into these non signaling idiots, their posh lawyers will make sure we pay for their clients stupidity. Its not too much to ask is it Tarquin? Familiarise yourself with the Highway Code, make sure you let other less fortunate road users know your intentions and you might just avoid the hassle of a very pissed off motorist rearranging the back end of your Range Rover. And your face. You might even get to the stables in time to catch Felicity enjoying the ride of her life. In the stables with the stable boy. Or girl. They really are good videos....
