It is Saturday evening and as I sit here with a pounding headache - TopicsExpress

It is Saturday evening and as I sit here with a pounding headache from a long week, I am missing the people that I have loved and lost in my life. It seems that cancer is a common theme in the dismissal of lives from my world. In this particular moment, I am thinking about my mom who died of lung cancer when I was 13 years old. I wrote a blog post today on the stigma of lung cancer (probably why I am missing her terribly at this moment). It feels sometimes, like most of my life has been about caregiving. A double edged sword. This is probably why I love the organization I started for caregivers, the Dialysis of Healing, and why I find myself missing so many people that have left my life. I really want to hear similar experiences. Could you read my blog on lung cancer and let me know what you think? I guess I am looking for company over the weekend. So now I am off to watch the old Smurf movie with my 8 year old.
