It is a natural right for human beings to protect themselves. A responsible gun owner is zero danger to any other human being, unless that person violates the NAP and initiates an assault. A boost in gun ownership doesnt mean that every time a couple as a spat they will grab their gun and start shooting. Get reasonable. An increase in gun ownership does not increase the prevalence of violence/crime. Multiple studies demonstrate this theory. But employ reason for one moment, if you were a criminal would you want to break into a home where the victims were armed? Or where they only had a phone call as an option of defense?
