It is amazing how the media has taken the Ray Rice (football - TopicsExpress

It is amazing how the media has taken the Ray Rice (football player) incident and made it the most important story for several days. A domestic dispute which I am sure occurs hundreds of times daily in households across the US. I know he is a famous ( I suppose) pro player. He has been punished by the team and NFL. Lets move on. The media and sports people and numerous others are decrying a coverup by the NFL and those in charge. Calling for the commissioner to resign or be impeached....on and on it goes. Just compare the media attention and probably the attention of the American public to the The IRS Scandal...affecting hundreds and even thousands of people being targeted by the IRS and the coverup that is taking place; the Benghazi fiasco in which 4 Americans died and many others hurt and someone in government invented and told a false narrative to get the blame off them; Border problems and lack of US Government attention; the rise of ISIS and the beheading of 2 Americans and the killing of thousands of Christians and other people and the US having no plan; It just seems we have our priorities so messed up. Sure it is not a good thing to knock out your girlfriend or wife or husband, but to keep this going as if it were the most important issue in the world is ridiculous to me. Calling for resignations and firings and impeachments etc. over this incident and completely ignoring or hiding the weakness of government officials in so many incidents over the past few years is beyond ludicrous! Is my thinking completely off about this? SMH!
