It is beyond time to set right the wrongs of Breed Specific Legislation! This Nightmare known as BSL originated in Dade County in the mid 70s under the guise at the time of a dangerous dog ordnance. However since then, this prejudicial legislation has spiraled out of control!! In each decade that has past this legislation has been used as a tool to target certain breeds which share some physical traits? Rottweilers and Dobermans along with German Shepherds were some of the first breeds to be targeted. Today,Pit Bulls and pit bull mixes along with Staffordshire Terriers are the focus of this vile legislation which results in thousands of Pitties being killed monthly at shelters from coast to coast all because of this speculative pile of prejudice.. It is time to Remove this Unwarranted hate from the backs of these amazing and loving breeds of canine!!... Mike Collins animal advocate/pittie parent
