It is evident that the CDC protocols both for diagnosis and treatment of Lyme Disease, are inadequate in a great number of cases, and do not even discuss the prevalent encysted form of Lyme Disease which develops during treatment, is resistant to Doxycycline, and responds to Flagyl. Nor do the CDC protocols discuss the host of concomitant tick-borne illnesses that overlap with Lyme Disease and are all responsive to Doxycycline treatment, nor do they discuss prophylaxis treatment to ward off disease, not even when good research has shown that even a SINGLE dose of Doxycycline can prevent nearly all of the tick-borne illnesses from ever showing up in the first place.
