It is not only Kenya who has its troops and as well bordering Somalia. Ethiopia and Djibouti all have their troops in Somalia and as well border. The blame and the problem is squarely on Kenyas security apparatus in manning its border. Kenya did/does not put effort in manning Somalia border, thats why you find security checks start at Garissa bridge, as if Garissa is the end of Kenya. Theres no much security check on the main borders, There are border checks and custom duty posts fully secured installed in other points where Kenya borders with Tanzania and Uganda but its never found in Som border where there is sure threat and easy penetration...Its high time Kenya shifts and deploys those KDF in Kismayo turned charcoal sellers to the main border points on Ken-Som border.
