It is with a very heavy heart that we said goodbye today to our handsome, loving, tolerant-of-costumes hospital cat Chip. He had been suffering from chronic renal failure, a progressive and ultimately fatal disease common to many cats. Chip came to us many years ago as a stray. We took him in and he took our hearts. You could always find him sleeping in the back office or trying to sneak out front to the waiting room. He loved looking out our back door at the birds and traffic passing by. On late night emergencies, he would often be nosy and say hello to clients, to offer what comfort he could. Chip, we will miss you so much. Well see you again one day, buddy.
