It just came to my knowledge that a certain Mr Abdul Ganiy Jimoh and his wife(in purdah) were arrested/picked gestapo like from their Ifo Ogun state suburb home at 3:00am since last week and have been in Marilyn Ogars DSS custody...without charges! On further enquiries it was said that they had issues with the husband and that orders came from Abuja. Fine! Orders are orders, but for heavens sake what could a pregnant woman in purdah have done to warrant that she be traumatised in that condition and incarcerated for an yet to be disclosed offence of her husband? Is the DSS hellbent on further turning the populace against the GEJ administration or what exactly are they playing at? As it is, the people in the community are already planning a protest march to the states assembly complex on account of this Impunity. I dont care what the husband may have done, arresting the wife for her husbands offence and in her condition was most callous. Whats with this DSS people sef? Why cant they do something right for once?
