It makes me so mad that if a child says my stomach hurts they automatically allow the child to call a parent to come pick them up. When I was in school if we werent clearly sick, running a fever, or had a missing limb we were told to suck it up and go on about our day. For the record, its not my childs teacher allowing her to call home. It is the school nurse. Why are my tax dollars paying her if her cure all is to have Mattellen dial my # every time she is sick? Especially, when every time it happens I ask the same questions is she running a fever? Did you check her out? Youre the nurse- is she sick? And if you feel that I need to come pick her up I will, but I need your opinion FRUSTRATING.
