It seems as though the Nevada Board of Medical Examiners is combining the cases against the doctors as they are all so intertwined. As a result, I need to get as many of the reports in by November when the board meets. As I look over the records, which alone are enough to hang these people, I vacillate between extreme anger and absolute amusement. It is the oddest thing. The records look as though they were written by barely functional individuals who couldnt even get their lies to flow together and sound somewhat reasonably believable. On the other hand, it reminds me of what my mom has been through. She still has a long way to go, but makes progress daily. She has regained some use of her right hand and is now using that hand to hold eating utensils. Her voice is still quite effected as a result of the stroke that she suffered AFTER she awoke from the dead thanks to those a--holes. In fact, by the time she left Siena, she had gone from 130 lbs to 89 lbs! She kept saying that she was hungry, but we didnt think she realized that they were feeding her through a peg tube. When she arrived at de Lima, we finally saw her out of bed and her legs were like toothpicks. I am still horrified when I think about it. Thanks to Michael Franklins great cooking, we have her back up to 124 lbs according to our visit to her primary care physician last week. There is a line in the movie White Chicks in which the woman says, They aint never met nobody like me before. I guarantee that the forty stooges have never met anyone like me either.
