It seems to be our fate to perform in venues just prior to their closing! First it was Great Scott, then the Blue Wisp. Irony of ironies, it wasnt the musics fault judging by the enthusiastic jazz fans that packed both rooms. But great news; whatever the reason for Great Scotts closing, the restaurant has now been replaced by the Stone Bowl Korean and Sushi Restaurant. Liz and i had lunch there for the first time earlier this week and I am happy to report that the food was delicious and the service friendly. Now let me see if I can return jazz to Oakley. The Stone Bowl is located across from the Crossroads Church on Madison Rd. near Ridge.
