It sure is a gloomy start to the weekend with overcast skies, patchy fog, and some showers. Scattered showers will continue through the early afternoon hours before slowly tapering off to isolated showers later on today. It will remain mainly cloudy with highs in the 70s today. A cold front will move through tonight which will drop our temperatures into the 50s tonight and also dry us out for Sunday. Well see more sunshine tomorrow with high temperatures in the low to mid 70s under partly cloudy skies. The work week will start out chilly with lows in the upper 40s to low 50s on Monday morning. It will warm up nicely throughout the day with high temperatures in the mid 70s under mostly sunny skies. Another cold front will move into the Carolinas on Tuesday giving us the chance for rain followed by the coolest air weve had so far this fall. Highs will be around 70 with lows in the 40s by the end of the week.
