It was abt. 14 yrs ago when the Taviuni family arrived in Independence. Two new boys (brothers) attended my Sunbeam class. The younger of the Taviuni boys told me other people call him Fata but his real name is Scott. I called him Scott thw entire time he was in my Sunbeam class. I loved Scott and became my good friend. Scotts family moved to another ward and we kept in touch. When his family moved back to our ward I watched how Scott progressed and was obedience to his parents and church leaders. Often times I would be in charge of youth activities and Scott would be my clown partner and greeted the children of all ages which he loved very much. Scott often came by and found me preparing for a Stake or ward assignment at the Stake center and he would quickly volunteer to lend a hand. Today I strung these flowers to create a hawaiian Lei for Scott as he celebrate this milestone in his life with family and friends. Brother Vaka and I entered his home this evening with joy in our heart as we felt his strong testimony of service. I know he will do well and will be a strong missionary in serving the Lord in New Zealand. We congratulate his parents for raising a rock of a child. I love you Scott---Elder Faamoe. from the Vaka family in Independence, Missouri..
