It was an honor to help Shiva Baum introduce Salif Keita to Bhakti Fest as the great human rights activist, legend that he is… Salif was cast out from his family for being Albino and went against the code of his royal family (he is an orginal descendent of the chief of the Malian Empire) to become a musician, a griot, a song- poet- messenger and pioneer in African world music. His mission is to end stigmas based on the color of our skin by supporting Albinos in the world - many who are outcaste in their community. Bhakti Fest is vibrating with amazing beings and now opening deeper into the worlds Bhakti traditions. Axe, Allah, Shalom, Om, Awen Amen, Aho!
