It was my pleasure to provide a report of the events that have taken place including local meetings in Lesina via Skype to the 325th Fighter Group Checkertail Clan members in Boston. It was an overwhelming feeling reporting the working progress to date and the next steps to complete, what I call "Part One". The approval and support from the local municipal administration was a huge success. I will follow up with Kathy and the Executives at first opportunity when I return home after my visit in Rome ( i am in transit today) with the AMI (Aeronautica Militare Italiana) to check on a couple of things. My trip will complete in Rivolto (near Venice) at the Air Base where the Frecce Tricolori are based as a personal bonus. Ciao a tutti.
