Its Christmas Eve here in Ethiopia, and the city is bustling with excitement! Everywhere we go people are walking around carrying chickens for tomorrows doro wat (spicy chicken stew) - our two chickens that we purchased live this morning are in Emamas compound waiting for us to slaughter them! Oh my! And 5 kilos of onions are processed in the kitchen. We are getting ready to celebrate our Kings birth....again!
