Its Me English Club. Date: 27/10/2014 Address: To Hoang Secondary school. Topic: TEENAGERSS EATING HABIT. Eating is a part of our lives. There is a truth that no eating no surviving. We study and work to earn money then use money to buy every necessary things including food. When youre full you will have power to study or work again. People understand simply that eating is to supply enough substance for body, which makes us stronger and heathier. But nowaday when time seems to be too short to do everything, people especially students tend to buy fast foods or street foods rather than cook at home. Thats nearly become a culture in community of students. It is undeniable that fast food and street food are delicious, convenient and cheap. Whenever you go out from your gate, you can buy every kinds of food you like. Dont need to go to the market, dont need to spend time cooking, even dont need to wash the dishes you still have a delicious meal. Whats else more wonderful? Yet, you know fast food and street food contain a high fat substance. It is one of the reasons that leads to obesity, diabetic or high blood pressure and other diseases. Besides in Viet Nam, strees food isnt safe. No goverment agencies are responsible for cheking qulity of this food. There is another alarming problem. Many children arent getting enough fruits and vegetables in their daily diet. Instead of this, they are eating plenty of chips, candy, soft drinks, snack, ice cream....And they often ignore breakfast inspite of understanding how it is important. Without power, they feel tired and dont want to do anything. That bad habits make the parents so worried. Everything has two sides: the advantages and the disadvantages. Maybe the fast food and street food have a lot of benifits. But the price you have to pay is also very high. So you should balance between benefit and health when you use them! Questions for discussing: 1 How many times a week dont you cook at home? Why? 2 What do you think about street foods in Viet Nam? Some people say that we should ban selling that kind of food because of its quality. Others, however, still insist on their existance, they assess them as a culture of Viet Nam. What about you? 3 You think your eating habit is good or bad? Share with us your eating habit.
