Its Throwback Thursday! Thank you to everyone who responded to our post with your favorite book yesterday in honor of Oprahs birthday. I thought we would have a little fun today while keeping on top of the real issues of literacy and education that are among us. I was actually READING the posts and found some books not in my library that I would love to read. Thank you for sharing. Today why not turn the television off and spend an hour reading to your children or take the time to read that book you have not made time to read? I am going to do the same. I will also refer again to my favorite book, The Politics of Jesus by Obery Hendricks, Jr., a friend and a scholar of biblical interpretation. All of you offered some very goods reads, so I am offering mine again. Buy this book today as it chronicles Jesus as a liberator for the poor.
