When: Thursday, July 24, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. Where: 408 Clinton Boulevard Back to School Shopping: Support Local Businesses The annual Sales Tax Holiday begins 12:01 a.m. Friday, July 25, 2014, and ends 12:00 midnight Saturday, July 26, 2014. Please review the listing of eligible and non-eligible clothing and footwear items for more information. The items exempt from sales tax during the Sales Tax Holiday are identical to those items exempt in prior years. Clothing and footwear items, meant to be worn next to the body and cost less than $100 per item, are exempt from sales tax during this period. Accessories such as jewelry, handbags, wallets, watches, backpacks, and similar items do not qualify for the Sales Tax Holiday. ASA Nationals Come to Clinton Tomorrow Clinton will host the ASA 16 & Under Class A Fastpitch Softball Southern National Championship, July 24-27 at Traceway Park Four Plex. It is estimated that 12-20 teams from 7-10 state and metro associations will compete for the Southern National Championship, which awards the top teams a berth to the 2015 ASA/USA National Championship at Hall of Fame Stadium in Oklahoma City, OK. Tournament Passes are $12 (ages 12 and under FREE), Daily Pass $5. There is no charge for parking. Back to the Bricks Calling all Clinton businesses. Join us in welcoming the Mississippi College students to Clinton at our 5th annual Back to the Bricks block party. This year the event will be held on Thursday, August 28 from 5 - 7 p.m. on Jefferson Street in Olde Towne.
