LETS take a look: THIS WEEKEND: Chamber Presents: Moonvine Art and Music Festival MOONVINE 49 ARTS & MUSIC FEST 2014 is scheduled for September 13th at Live Oaks Golf Course located on Highway 49 North. The music festival will begin at 2:00 p.m. and conclude at 7:00 p.m. highlighting regional bands and performers. This event will also include a film festival, featuring locally produced films, beginning at sundown and lasting until 10:00 p.m. Local artists, food vendors and more encircle the performance stage to create an area to enjoy home grown Mississippi entertainment under the canopy of the beautiful live oaks. Performers for the event include Rosco Bandana, OhJeramiah, and from Clinton, Eddie Cotton, Jr., Fides, and Wyatt Waters. Tickets can be purchased in advance for $5 or calling the Clinton Chamber of Commerce at 601.924.5912. Tickets purchased at the gate will be $10. Main Street Extends Market Season Our Fresh at Five Farmers Market vendors have so enjoyed the Clinton market that theyd like to continue selling on Tuesday evenings! Were going to try an extended market season for a few weeks to gauge the interest of the community. Continue to support local Mississippi growers by stocking up on fruits and vegetables at this mini-market. Join us in front of the Main Street Clinton office on West Leake Street from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. OLDE TOWNE AFTER DARK Smarty Pants Trivia September 18 8:00 p.m., 303 Jefferson New this fall, Main Street will begin hosting a trivia night in Olde Towne. Olde Towne After Dark, or #OTAD for our social media butterflies, will be held on the third Thursday in the months of September, October, and November. All local smarty pants are invited to form four person teams to compete for cash and other great prizes. Join us from 8:00 to 10:00 p.m. at 303 Jefferson on September 18, October 16, and November 20 to show off your knowledge of everything from pop culture and geography to sports and science. Start recruiting your team now or just show up and be on ours!
