Its a busy week in the sewing room! Altering and hemming, school uniforms, replacing zippers and special projects :) Also the West Rutland and Castleton farmers markets. Here are some pics of a special project. We call it a what not bag. Original name was a scrap bag for knitters and seamstresses for their threads and scraps with the weighted top for pins and needles. It sits on the edge of the table, bed, arm of chair or couch. Straps can be made in a variety of lengths depending on your needs. The what not bag is used for holding a variety of whatever you want (nail Polish, TV remote, puzzle book, snacks) and it could be used for the original purpose. This customer is a Relay for Life participant and wanted pink ribbon fabric. Like all of us, she walks for survivors and in memory of others. I have a variety of bags made for sale at the market and also make them to your specifications. Good for all occasions or just because! Never too early to begin your holiday shopping :)
