Its a norm for most Singaporean to pay a compoundable fine to avoid attending court, even the didnt commited the traffic offence. This is understandable as a law abidding person may have a phobia to stand on trial. However, can we really believe that the TP will conduct a fair & thorough investigation on our cases? On 8 Feb 2013, I had an traffic accident along SLE towards Woodlands. The case was subsequently bought to court. At the end of the day, i was found not guilty. The judge had commented that this was a very simple case, and prosecution cant even proof that i was guilty... Have you ever been summoned wrongly?
